USA Women at RFK
The Insider has learned that the U.S. women's national team will play a friendly against Canada on Sat., May 10 at RFK Stadium -- the Americans' first appearance in D.C. since the 2003 World Cup opener against Sweden. Kickoff will probably be early evening. An official announcement is expected this week. The USSF and local organizers declined comment. Both the U.S. and Canada are one victory away from Olympic berths, with the Americans facing Costa Rica and Canada taking on host Mexico on Wednesday night.
