Man, it's hot out here. Hotter than the Jalapeno Burger at Carl's Jr. Hotter than Diane Lane in "Unfaithful." (Okay, maybe it's not that hot here.)

Near 100 in the Valley. Around 90 at Home Depot Center. But a cool 85 with a sea breeze at Hermosa Beach, where the Insider chills during down time. On our continuing tour of MLS road eats, we will stop by La Playita for an outdoor lunch.

Chivas without Fs Galindo and Eskandarian, MF Wicky and Ds Thomas, Suarez, Bornstein, Talley, Vaughn and Zotinca. In a 3-4-3, Marsch starting in central defense and flanked by Burling and Curtin.
