D.C. United has acquired Honduran midfielder-defender Ivan Guerrero from the San Jose Earthquakes for a partial allocation. Guerrero, 30, played three seasons with Chicago before joining San Jose this year. He has made 14 appearances (13 starts) for the Earthquakes and scored one goal. Guerrero, who has a green card and does not count against the foreign limit, is a left-sided player who is due to earn $147,000 this season. He'll arrive in Washington today and be available for Saturday's home match against Kansas City.

More details to come.....
