Cunningham to Dallas
Okay, so maybe there was interest in Jeff Cunningham. Dallas has picked him up from Toronto for a 2009 third-round draft pick. Now let's see if TFC gets Carlos Ruiz from L.A.
FCD also announced the signing of Dutch midfielder Victor Sikora, 30, who has played for Go Ahead Eagles, Vitesse Armhem, Ajax, Herenveen and NAC Breda.

Where are the Wizards in all this talk? They need more help scoring goals than anyone! You'd think they would have made an offer on Cunningham.

Wow, Amado Guevara and Carlos Ruiz on the same team. What's not to hate? All they need is Cuauhtemoc Blanco for the trifecta.
(Then again, the same could have been said of Guevara and Cunningham.)

RK- trade price is cheap but I don't think the cap hit is here.
So Dallas gets an approx 100k striker to add to their depth (do I have his salary right?) which I'm not sure was actually all that bad. So the question is is Dallas just beefing up its second striker options to play alongside Cooper (Oduro, Thompson & Cunningham) or have Cardiff or Rosenborg come back in over the top and Dallas are scrambling to cover a new hole.

I agree with you Joe Doc. He slightly reminds me of Ali Curtis, but that could just be based on appearance.

the guy has 6 goals in 32 games.
Cunningham ripped off toronto to the tune of about $400,000 over 1.5 seasons for 6 goals.
Pathetic.
At first I thought he couldn't score because the service wasn't there. But this season he's had more than enough chances of all kinds with almost total failure.
He also has no soccer IQ to speak of. Maybe in the old MLS you could run in a straight line downfield past defenders and knock it through the keepers legs, but not anymore. The number of breakaways he's failed on was pathetic.

Don't know what Cunningham's salary cost will be to Dallas this year, but next year if he is around will be around $250K. I am glad he is gone b/c he was going to be waived at the end of the season. I am glad we got a pick
