*The Maryland Terrapins opened its season in dramatic fashion, scoring the equalizer in the final minute and then winning in overtime, 2-1, over UCLA before 3,214 at Home Depot Center. Meantime, at the D.C. College Cup, GW and George Mason played to a 1-1 tie and American thumped Howard, 5-0.

Dang, I missed a coouple I wanted to see last night. Notably the Terps. Stupid family movie night!!!!
Oh well, I get Jimmy Buffet tonite. Then USOC Wed. Should be a great next few days.
Would like to see some minutes vs Red BullsXXX for a few of the injured/returning starters. They need to get back with the program.
Should be interesting to see if RSL has a homefield advantage next year.

Nice article on Simms. Interesting that he says the games seem shorter the more he plays. Hejduk-like fitness level. Does he have a nickname yet? Simmer? Simmsy? Clyde-o?
