Golazo!
Let's lighten the mood for a moment with this spectacular goal by Club America's Alfredo Moreno during a 1-1 tie with Puebla. Moreno, an Argentine, was later red-carded. The goal is even more impressive in replay. Watch and learn, kids:

This is one of the guys we should sign to replace Emilio as he can create goals, as well as finish them himself, unlike Emilio...
Others of interest are: Christian "Chaco" Gimenez (Pachuca) : midfielder, and Walter Gaitan (Necaxa) : attacking midfielder behind the striker.

This should nail the coffin shut for those who think he's still eligible to play for the US.
New Jersey-born Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi is remaining calm and collected after making his debut for the Italian national team against Bulgaria on Saturday.
Manager Marcello Lippi called up Rossi, Napoli defender Fabiano Santacroce, Christian Maggio and Udinese forward Simone Pepe, with all four eager to make their debuts for the national side. The young Villarreal striker came on towards the end of the match to win his first cap and give the Italian public an idea of his capabilities.

That goal was enough to lighten the mood, but then there were fights in the stands and an ugly red card.

Are you going to do the "Good, Bad and Ugly" segment? I'm so used to reading it on Monday mornings!

Can we talk about the fans that booed Ashley Cole during England's WCQ this past weekend

England fans are the "what have you done for me lately" kind. They'll forget all about it if he has a good next match, especially if he scores.

Cole's out with a hammy. Maybe he is on the DC United training regimen.
