Goff any word on Quaranta's fitness in regards to tomorrow's match? I really don't want to watch on TV but without him I might just have to.

Posted by: dadryan | October 3, 2008 11:16 PM | Report abuse

Why won't they schedule these soccer matches around college football games so I can watch them all?

Futsal, huh? Cool! Yet another example of FIFA's drive for world domination! :-)

@Andrew. Firefox + Adblock Plus.

WBA-Fulham 0:0 at the half. Mostly a pedestrian match. Fulham were giving away the balls in the middle and attacking thirds, but picked up the pace in the last 10'. WBA weren't getting past the Fulham D. Dempsey started. He has a couple of quick shots and fought hard in the box to send a pass that his teammate shot wide (barely). Clint is getting praise from the announcers for his hard work.

Did Burch receive a red card Wednesday? I don't remember it from being at the game, but the box score in Thursday's paper said he did, in the 63rd minute. The DC United website says he didn't.

WBA pouring it on. Fulham defnse remians calm. Better, but one-sided, 2nd half so far.

Yet local NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox doesn't even mention a word about United game while they bombarded words with local high school throw balls, ice fighting game etc. They continue discriminate against United and its fans, isolate them and keep them in the dark place. The only light we see is Goff, a few reporters from Washington Times and Examiner. I am sure they have to fight constantly to get a spot to write about United with their anti united forces. With economic deserter we have in tight budget we spend a bundle on cable, satellite, and some bars to enjoy the beautiful game.

No. Burch did not get red card on wednesday. I can assure you.

Mike Bradley DNP again today. On to DC - bring on Cuba.

Posted by: Made the bench | October 4, 2008 11:36 AM | Report abuse

WBA 1 - Fulham 0. WBA scores on a corner. Dempsey was OK in the 2nd half. He had one header over the bar. He seemed to be playing closer to the half line, often with his back to goal and settling the ball instead of running at the goal. Probably due to WBA's increased pressure.

Anyone thinks Bob Bradley's decision to bring Adu and Troy is due to draw more DC people?

Dempsey looked very good today. Form continues to improve. Even Hodgson had to single him out for his good play.
