I am sure that someone way smarter than I am has already posted this here several times already but...

So I guess Argentina won't be making any appearances here in the States for friendlies while the Albicelestes are under the guidance of Maradona (not that I really care one way or the other. Just an observation...)

They did just come here a few months ago so the Argies coming again any time soon wasn't likely anyway.

#101: Mike Petke.

@yankiboy: Your Messiah boys are still fighting!

According to the ESPN website they are showing the Celtic United game at 2:30

Of course if Steve is right I'll get more work done.

What, no Frank Lampard "the greatest player in the world?" Or "England's Brave John Terry?" Tee hee.

RCN listings have Man U v Celtic at 2:30 on ESPN2 and Real Madrid v Juventus at 5:00 on ESPNCL

Posted by: dccal | November 5, 2008 10:30 AM | Report abuse

The Posts own TV guide says it's ManU/Celtic this afternoon.
Personally I'd much rather watch Juve/Real Madrid.
It would be quite nice if ESPN didn't have to jock the EPL teams so hard. Thank goodness for live video streams eh?

Posted by: DadRyan | November 5, 2008 10:40 AM | Report abuse

Yeah, I don't know where Mr. Goff is getting his listings from, but the print edition of the Post yesterday said the PSV/Marsallies game was on. Lo, and Behold, I recorded the Liverpool/Atletico game.

DirecTV has ManU/Celtic listed for ESPN2.

TV Listings updated: Celtic-Man U is on ESPN2 at 2:30. Juventus-Real Madrid at 5 p.m. on ESPN Classic. Sorry for the confusion.

Jay, that's what the comcast cable guide said as well, but espn's online guide had listed Liverpool. I was shocked to see PSV/Marseille even considered.

Biggest absentee from the Top 10 list: Xavi.

Only one Brazilian on the list. I blame Dunga. :-)

Man Utd vs Celtic -- any one of those guys (goalkeepers excluded) will do more running today than a major league baseball player would do all season. Should be a fun game to watch.

Wonder if there will be any crossing?

Sir Alex will be cross at the referees.

Gerrard is a freakin' diver.

Anyone see his flop in the 95th minute of the LIV-ATL match yesterday?

Just the Celtic defenders crossing themselves.

(Before anyone gets bent out of shape, I'm an Irish Catholic. We laugh at ourselves.)

Well in!

Any list that includes Gerrard in the top 10 is ridiculous. What exactly did he do last season that he merits more accolades than Lampard, Terry, Senna, Xavi, Ballack, Rooney, Giggs, Sneijder and so on.
