*D.C. United's scrimmage against NCAA champion Maryland on Sunday has been finalized: Ludwig Field, 1 p.m., free admission.
*GOAL!Maryland, a group supporting United's plans to build a stadium in Prince George's County, has launched a Web site. Take a look.
*MLS announced today that its Direct Kick TV package will offer up to 130 league matches plus select playoff games for $79 on DirecTV, DISH Network and In Demand cable systems. As a preview, the March 21 matches will be available for free.
*The New York Red Bulls have arrived in Buenos Aires for a two-week training camp. They will play Velez Sarsfield tomorrow morning -- the first half will showcase Velez's first team -- and face River Plate's reserves on Thursday. Macoumda Kandji did not travel with the club because of visa issues. Trialists include former Barcelona and Real Madrid defender Alberto Celades, 33; Mexican defender Jaime Duran (Atlas), 23; and Trinidad and Tobago defender Aklie Edwards (11 caps), 23.

Yo I've heard that Donovan is eligible for Champions League, does anyone know if he'll be dressing?
Also, Arshavin(sp?) with Arsenal and is he eligible?

a bunch of those UEFA games will available to watch online at espn360 online. You can view them later as well if you can't watch them live.
I wish La Liga would allow espn to carry their games. I don't feel like paying a stupid monthly subscription just to watch them play.
