Maybe Jackson Simcbluh is so ready to leave that Peru club he's told them he's going to America to force a move on there part for more money or playing time. Or maybe no 1 has told him that MLS no longer has the reserve league. I will miss those Sunday games.

Ivan The Guerrero is going to be in good form from Day 1, thanks to his national team duties.

International soccer in Nashville. Wow. Will Skynyrd do the halftime show?

Surprised that Wilson Palacios was not named to the Honduras roster. Maybe he got a bye given his recent transfer from Wigan to Tottenham. This guy is skilled and powerful. Watch out for the Catrachos. If they can manage some defense they will be tough.

I'm liking the sound of these WCQ being shown on regular old everday man ESPN and not Classic.
Steve! any idea of plans by any networks to be giving us coverage of the away legs?

hahahahaha

That black dude promised 14 goals, anyone know where this kid came from or how he was spotted???

Are you going to look into it goff?

@Bolivian -- Do not laugh. Clearly, this is a promise that will be kept. Though no one with DC United has heard of him, it's because they are not from the future. This Jackson kid is one of the 4400. He knows he will score 14 goals this year. He also knows he has a future with DC United, hence the confusion. Someone should ask him who DCU will be bringing in as DP this summer....

Whatever happened tot eh Galaxy's discussion with Osman Chavez?

Posted by: fischy | February 3, 2009 8:13 PM | Report abuse

Jackson obviously just disappeared when he was on the field.

47 days until United's first game!

How does one pronounce Simcbluh, and what nationality is that name?

(repeated from a previous boodle)

Those mug shots of Luci (from Steinbog) remind me of bad celebrity police booking shots.

Actually, he bears a resemblance to Idris Elba. Has Stringer Bell taken his game to Peru?

Posted by: fischy | February 3, 2009 11:48 PM | Report abuse

Good for Espinioza. Never met him (got to MLS draft day too late last year).

At one point in time he was being sought after by the PR Federation because it was hoped that (if he were interested) his eligibility could be established via his adopted parents. Then PR politics kicked in and everything got really complicated.

I hope that he has a great MLS career and great career with Honduras.

Like most of my comments, just ignore the last one about Espinoza. It was just brought to my attention, there is very possibly an inaccuracy about the potential PR eligibility (i.e parents).

Sorry...
