Quiz: What was Iceland's #4 protesting?
A. Offside
B. The defense's ball watching
C. The distracting tattoos
D. The limits on fishing that will be imposed on Iceland when they join the EU

It was a trick question. B, C, and D are all possible answers.

Good quote sheet:
U.S. Midfielder/Forward Megan Rapinoe on Kai’s goal:
“Sick. So sick. Right? She brought it down, a little touch over the girl and a sick volley."
U.S. Head Coach Pia Sundhage on if she was pleased with the match:
“Yes and no. It’s great to be a winner, 1-0, on a fantastic goal by Natasha Kai coming off the bench, but the first half was crap, if I may say so.”

E. Yelling at her teammate for the weak clearance?
Pretty nice delivery from Rampone.

Wow. That's an ESPN Top 10.

Peralta's still on DCU's books?

Wow. That was an excellent goal. Good for the women; and also great quote from the coach. She's so straight forward it must be refreshing to play for her.

3 Things:
- Kai is a *beast*, and what a deft touch on the trap and after!
- Note Kai's different boots left v. right.
- Happy (not!) to see the USWNT sporting equally dull and uninspiring unis as the men. Those kits alone explain the weak first half that Pia so cleverly mentioned.

agree on the jerseys for the US national teams. All very boring and dull. Hope they get better ones for the world cup next year.
That was a sweet goal. Nice to lift it over a defender with one foot and score with the other.

Good thing they didn't wear the gold uniforms...

I was hoping to hear something from Troy on the scene.

Thank you for the video link, Mr. Goff. I was hoping to see the play.
So, in Portugal, they do the "Gooooooool!" thing, too? Huh.
@I-270: Most excellent; sorry I can't rep you on this board. :-)
