Americans Abroad, Monday Edition
In Denmark, USA midfielder Jeremiah White played 83 minutes in Aarhus' 1-1 tie at Aalborg. Teammate Benny Feilhaber did not get into the match. Neither did Aalborg forward Marcus Tracy. In Sweden, Charlie Davies started and went 90 in Hammarby's 2-0 loss at Örebro. Midfielder Alejandro Bedoya, the former Boston College star who shunned MLS last winter to head overseas, played 90 for Örebro.
On a completely unrelated topic, newly appointed Mexico coach Javier Aguirre has a few things to say about El Tri's situation.

"From experience I can say that matches are played over 90 minutes."
That's brilliant.

Could Aguirre have given a more generic interview?
"I want my players to give 110%"
"We must be proud to play for the shirt"
blah, blah, blah

OK Alejandro, but I've been to Orebro. If that's where you want to be, enjoy. Better you than me, pal.

A shunning? Really? MLS has been shunned? Oh, the shame of it all...
