Americans Abroad, Monday Edition
Another 90 minutes for USA defender Michael Parkhurst, who helps Nordsjaelland (8-16-7) thump last-place Vejle, 4-1, and take a step closer to remaining in Denmark's Norway's top division. Meantime, midfielder Danny Szetela was on the game-day roster but didn't play in Brescia's 2-1 loss at Grosseto in Italy's Serie B. Brescia (16-11-13) is in fourth place, one slot below promotion but four points behind with two matches left.

What happened to Szetela? He was getting large minutes in the first half of the season.

Duh, Parkhurst plays in Denmark not Norway.

"What happened to Szetela?"
A coaching change and an injury has kept him out.

FYI read an article today on Cherundalo and he said he expects to be back for the Gold Cup.

Don't forget to mention that Charlie Davies got slapped with a 5 game ban for a nasty elbow: http://watchsocceronline.blogspot.com/2009/05/davies-suspended-5-matches.html

A bit OT, but here's what Tony DiCicco has to say about WPS officiating:

I see that Goff just started a new thread that includes the DiCicco story.
