Volunteered me for Special Olympics most of Saturday, seemed like a good idea 2 months ago.

Puerto Rico Islanders viewing party planned at Momo's on U street tonight.

So come out and support your favorite Caribbean based second division club...

Sunday: I'll catch the first half of United v. City before heading up the highway to Philly to take M-I-L out to lunch.

As for Saturday:

Aux armes citoyens
Formez vos bataillons
Marchons, marchons
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons

Rough translation:

Take up banners, Screaming Eagles
Form your ranks, oh Barra Brava
March on! March on!
Till the streets of DC
run deep with black and red.

Austin v. P.R. -- Our chance to watch all those players who have left or escaped DCU's clutches -- all in one place. Somebody watch and let us know if Adams is any good?

Posted by: fischy | May 8, 2009 9:55 AM | Report abuse

I saw in today's WaPo Express that the DCU Toronto game is on CSN and the Caps game is on Versus. I thought Goff mentioned yesterday that the DCU game wouldn't be televised. Anyone can clarify?

Posted by: jleppig | May 8, 2009 10:02 AM | Report abuse

No TV for DCU.

Caps are on Comcast and Versus.

Posted by: Steve Goff | May 8, 2009 10:07 AM | Report abuse

And another thing: C'mon Hammers!

That's what you get with The Express. It's put together by a 17 year old intern with a deadline 3 days prior to release :-)

PRI Viewing Party Update--Yeah, I know that you will have to scramble to make other plans but here is the dealy-o:

The PRI-Austin viewing party @ MOMO's on U has been moved to a private home.

Hopefully we can return to our home base the next Islanders FSC match.

Posted by: yankiboy | May 8, 2009 3:06 PM | Report abuse

PRI-Austin are playing on the worst possible plastic surface. Seriously, it looks like a wet sheet of vinyl. Good thing that the viewing party was moved to a private home, where soccer's dirty laundry would not be aired.

West Ham United(H) VS Liverpool

Willhill 6.00 3.40 1.50
6.00 4.00 1.53

In those recent matches, Liverpool were playing pretty well, for they need to get 1st position in the league. What's more, with Gerrard's recovery, Liverpool can get 3 points in this matches without much effort.

West Ham need to save their 7th position, but they scored only one goal in the recent matches verses those four top teams.
