I loved hearing/reading Sir Bobby's analysis and punditry. He knew football inside out and pulled no punches when asked his opinion. Legend.

I met him after Newcastle played at Columbus in preseason 2000. He was very kind to take the time out to speak for a few minutes about youth development, when he must have been very tired and had a lot of people looking for his time. He was a real gentleman.

Sir Bobby was a quality human being. Spoke with him at length @ Fado's after the DCU/Newcastle friendly. Such passion and knowledge for the beautiful game. Rest in Peace my good friend Sir Bobby.
