Plus The Open (Tom Watson!?) and the Tour day France (Lance). Guess I have to clear some space on the DVR.

Here's my list:

DCU - Colorado (Live In Person)

No watching the game on the tv and/or computer from the Left Coast for me.

In th 1998 qualifying cycle, some road USA WCQs were only on obscure, unavailable channels or PPV at a bar. Now we have youth academy matches on ESPN Classic. You newbs have no idea how good you have it :)

After three relatively "boring" days of Le Tour, they head into the Alps tomorrow. The fur is gonna fly, and for even the uninitiated taking in tomorrow's stage will be well worth it. I'm getting chicken skin just writing about it. Can't wait.

Lots of Soccer. DCU/Celtic replay on Comcast in the early evening, maybe watch a little Gals/Cows on the computer if there's a feed laying around, and on Saturday I'll be curious to see if there is much difference in a BMO field with no beer being sold in it...
Check in on the Sounders/Chelsea a bit and I'll surely be checkin' in on the US/Panama match while I take in the game going on at RFK.
Sadly, I guess I won't be able to roast one with Poopy on Saturday... You gotta come to town when they aren't playing the least appealing team in MLS dude!!!! Maybe next time;-)

Saturday really is starting to look like a great day to slow cook some stuff in the Ol' Weber. Beer can chicken? Ribs? Any suggestions?

I think I might DVR the Canada Honduras game. See how a team that Should be competing for the World Cup is doing.

Damn, lot's for the DVR. (Won't even be able to be home Saturday night).

Quite a cluster$^&*, isn't it?

Missed one: CSN is also airing Saturday's Freedom-Athletica match (5 pm at RFK).

2) Sunday Stage 15: Mountain Top finish at Verbier!

Next Week must see TV:
Thursday, Stage 18. Individual Time Trial
Saturday, Stage 20. The Mack Daddy, Mont Ventoux.

freedom live on comcast confirmed.....

Am I the only who will watch the Galaxy game on the (pretty good) chance that Beckham puts Donovan in a headlock? Here's to Ryan-Ventura II.

Note: I would have linked to Nolan Ryan whipping Robin Ventura but the jackholes at MLB pulled the video.

Is the US v Panama Gold Cup quarterfinal locked in for a 8pm kickoff? Just wondering if the time could move depending on whether the preceding Canada-Honduras game goes to extra time or not. In the first round stages there was no real warm-up time between the games.

Gotta record USA while I'm at RFK watching DC United.

Holy heck, that's a lot of soccer. Some live (United), some live on TV and some on DVR (USA-Panama -- y'hear that Nielsen co.?)

The Freedom broadcast will be supplemented by a Webcast that can be accessed via either the WPS or Freedom site (or the Athletica site, for that matter). I have no idea whether it will be a simulcast of the CSN feed or something else.

Also, it is curious that Sunday's WPS game of the week starts 90 minutes earlier than usual, especially since it thus overlaps the BSPN broadcast of the USA-Canada friendly.

Speaking of which, McLeod shows up on the latest Canada roster. Will we be seeing Spisak between the pipes on Saturday?

I suspect that the FSC suits will see to it.

Incredibly, it appears that Saturday will be the first time that the senior USMNT has played in Philadelphia in over 40 years. Can this be true?

Actually, the MNT visited Philly in 1991 for a friendly against Sheffield Wednesday. This weekend marks the first match against another national team there since 1968.

Medellin is taking on Cali? Who do they get to referee? I shouldn't joke, I guess, given recent events in Mexico -- they're calling last weekend the Mexican druglord's Tet Offensive.
