Meh. I guess it's a good sign to see Bradley bck on the pitch. Tim Howard looked great, and Dempsey had a couple of near misses. Otherwise, this list looks like a lot of losing and/or not playing but there were some players who moved into the 18 when they weren't there before, and others who got more time on the pitch. Got to remember to wear those rose-colored glasses.

So is Bob Bradley going to publicly throw out his policy of "You've got to be playing for your club to start for the Nats." Or is he just going to 'bend' the rules in order to continue starting Gooch, Junior, etc? I mean really you're going to continue overlooking Torres in favor of Jr who hasn't played in 3-4 weeks and only gets 45 this week?

This is one crappy string of results. Except for Tim Howard.

So has Gooch plaed a single minute for AC Milan in a league game yet? If not, is it really in his and the USMNT's best interest to have him on the bench of a top team as opposed to playing 90 consistently for a slightly less good team?

@Dougmacintyre

I don't know, but it's certainly in Gooch's bank account's interest!

Torres is the only player, aside from Donovan, on the US team with foot skills and soccer vision. Why doesn't he start every game?
