*Vote for MLS's goal of the year and save of the year.

*Local non-league college matchups tonight: Navy (8-9-0) at sixth-ranked Maryland (10-4-2), 7:30 p.m., and American (9-4-1) at 10th-ranked Virginia (10-3-2), 7 p.m.

Don't worry. Jozy wool be starting in no time.

English car wash: rain rinse, wool dry, and lanolin wax.

I see Jozy has found Humberside's biggest and best nightclub!

Posted by: Kev29 | November 3, 2009 11:11 AM | Report abuse

Did Jzy buy that car, rent it, or fleece it?

Posted by: I-270Exit1 | November 3, 2009 11:13 AM | Report abuse

I'd hate to see him shorn of his first team spot for being late again.

Posted by: Kev29 | November 3, 2009 11:15 AM | Report abuse

I bet all you morons who posted dumb puns feel pretty sheepish now.

Posted by: Joel_M_Lane | November 3, 2009 11:17 AM | Report abuse

He missed all his shots in training - shanked them.

Who ever said the EPL was so glamborous?

Posted by: WorldCup | November 3, 2009 11:22 AM | Report abuse

Anyone herd why Altidore was late to training?

Posted by: tab5g1 | November 3, 2009 11:25 AM | Report abuse

He will be fine as long as he doesn't get caught gamboling on any games.

Posted by: dimesmakedollars | November 3, 2009 11:27 AM | Report abuse

Glad Jozy plays for the ewe-nited states

Normally my stodgy office doesn't want anyone making a peep, but I got a good loud laugh out of this post.

Not sure if he's leaving on his own accord or if he's been gracefully pushed out, but... we are no longer part of Tommy's army.

Goal of the Year -- Seems like half the goals are a variant of cut across in front of the defense outside the 18, find a seam, blast it home. Nice goals, goals of the week, but not goal of the year.

Goal of the year should have some more technical artistry -- McBride, Moreno, Lopez, Namoff's diving header, Lewis, Donovan. They fit the bill.

But I vote for Eskandarian's sombrero and finish.

And Mathis too.

Agreed. Which is why I voted for McBride.

George John and O'Brian White need to get together and swap a first name for a last name.

Jozy would not have had that problem had he been driving on the correct side of the road...

I know I'll be lambasted, but I've got mutton.

Cletus for Goal of the Year. Not even a contest.

I don't know how this will affect Altidore but Hull City's manager says they need to get rid of 15 players this winter:

They're going to cull the herd?

It appears that tomorrow's USA-Italy U17 clash can be seen only at BSPN360.com.
