Really hope that Cabanas pulls through and can resume a healthy life.

The Cabanas story is awful. Does he have any children?

I guess we're not considering any possibility that Holden might play for Bolton already today?

Steve, any word on where UVa's Chris Agorsor of McDonough HS is starting his pro career?

The school announced yesterday he's leaving to go pro but didn't give any details.

RERUN

Posted by: DadRyan | January 26, 2010 1:14 PM | Report abuse

Slow news day for football or is Goff busy working on a big story for us?

Posted by: spata1 | January 26, 2010 1:29 PM | Report abuse

Waddaya mean it's a slow news day?

DadRyan just told us he's watching reruns on Channel 10!

The news about Cabanas this morning was that he was still about the same but the chief surgeon said that was good news. Spending a night sedated and unconscious but with no further complications is probably a good sign but he's not out of the woods yet.

Goff, have you heard anything about the possible signing of Matias Corujo?

I see that Goff just started a new thread that covers the WC 2018 news, inter alia.

This U20 stuff doesn't serve to cap-tie Leroux, does it? They need to make sure she never plays for Canada again.

After hearing the scorer of the last goal give postgame interviews on the CONCACAF site in two languages, I found the following:

http://www.gostanford.com/sports/w-soccer/mtt/garciamendez_alina00.html

Ergo, the actual final score was Yanks 3, Mexicans 0.

Uhhh, I think it was joedoc who was watching the reruns...

If Dish/Direct, or the local cable provider doesn't offer FSC or the new Fox soccer channel use the internet and go to Veetle TV or
Justin TV and you can pick up pretty much that was on Setanta and what is offered by FSC. The quality varies, not quite as good as ESPN360, but still watchable and free.
