Huge win for Rennes are the league-leaders...

The state of our injury list is troubling... The only reason why I'm glad the Cup is still 4 months away

Altidore and Bocanegra the only ones to play in wins. Adu reverts to his old habit of riding the pine. Perhaps he should arrange a loan to USL2 to guarantee some playing time before the World Cup.

Thx,

Jay!

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle . . .
. . .

It's not June. Most of the recent injuries are minor knocks. Onyewu and Davies are on and ahead of schedule. Dempsey's status should reveal itself in the coming weeks.

I feel sorry for Adu. To be a phenom at 14, and finished at 21, can't be easy.

I wouldn't be so inclined to throw out Adu yet. The game was originally played on Saturday, then postponed at half due to heavy rain, and finished on Sunday. I doubt the coach needed to make any subs as any pro player can go 45 minutes. The guy had an assist last week. Give him a chance. Or you can just hate.

Also, I am wondering what people are thinking about Herculez Gomez? What does this say about the MLS style of play? What does this say about the Mexican League? Does the Mexican league grant to much space to attacking players? Should we call him up to the national team again? (I am at a no, but do we have healthy players right now?)

Arsenal attacks, Chelsea wins. Who knew?

Headin' out for a swim.

It would be interesting to know what Landon Donovan made of the derby game. It was brutal, and as bitterly contested as any for many years.

As for Adu, he was a fantastically overrated 14 year old, no-one could have lived up to that hype. He should return to the States and play in MLS where he did ok. He's not going to cut it in Europe.

The kids is 21, let Adu play. I used to be a downer on Adu but I switched because some of the hate was ridiculous. If this kid is 23 and stagnate, I will call for Adu to return to the MLS too.
