OT - Beckham went down in a heap near the end of AC Milan's match with Chievo today. He was apparently very distraught as he was stretchered off the pitch. Early reports are an Achilles rupture which would sideline him three months and end his WC chances for the England squad.

Sorry for the double post. Also, if I'm understanding correctly, the Sky report about being career threatening was referring to his England career, not footballing overalll.

With Beckham out and Donovan likely to stay at Everton, I'll wager it's a strike by the players union sometime this week, possibly after Columbus gets eliminated in their tourney.
Thx,
Jay!

Sure, he scores three goals. But he missed the first two easy shots. I'll give him a 6.

Today: 3 goals for Lio Messi, and 3 goals for Pipita Higuain. Very good news for the albiceleste.

The 2nd goal was especially nice!
Did anyone see Adam Johnson's goal in stoppage time to earn Man City a point at Sunderland? That was a very nice goal too!
