Will Valencia have any players this summer? Doesn't the club have to sell everyone of merit due to financial troubles?

I don't guess the Valencia game would be one of the "Special Games" in the season ticket package? Will David Villa still be with the team?

I posted a comment in the "Szetela" thread about the amazing symmetry between DCU's release of Szetela and the even more surprising news of the Nats' release of Elijah Dukes. Maybe a subject worth kicking around...

Goff, you're on a roll. Thanks for the great work.

Here's hoping that United and Valencia are both still in business come August!

Mr. Insider,

Don't you mean - SEVILLA was booted from the Round of 16?

I think the Bats couldn't do it last year because of their financial difficulties.

decoi, we've been hearing that for a while. I suppose that I'll believe it when I see it.

Is Mexico-North Korea on mun2 also? Thought mun2 were planning to show all the Mexico games in English?

We've heard nothing really new this week on MLS CBA negotiations...are they still talking? Are the odds of a strike going up each day?

Posted by: soccerman | March 17, 2010 11:44 AM | Report abuse

@ soccerman,

Goff posted yesterday that negotiations were recommencing either yesterday or today.

Confirmation that Guzan is in trouble?
Soccer America, citing the Daily Mail, reports that Villa are thinking about Man U Tomasz Kuszczak for keeper.

I think these in-season friendlys are STOOPID! I see no compelling reason to watch a match that doesn't matter. Where's the drama? Better not be any injuries.

The owners will make some money but they won't get any of mine.
