Chelsea-Spurs. I'm not waking up that early to catch the Manchester Derby here on the West Coast. Will also try to catch the LA-RSL game.

The volcanic ash has delayed the visiting team's flight in the Man Utd-Man City match.

What time's that DC United game on Comcast? Uhhh ESPN2? Uhhh FSC? Uhhh Telefutura? Uhhh the radio in English?

Guess I'll have to take Metro, uhhh park in Lot 8, uhhh mount a paradrop expidition into RFK this weekend.

Thx,

Jay!

I-270, volcanic ash is no laughing matter, the banner that said Gotta Love that Grass with Cheech and Chong on it up in Toronto on the other hand...

I hope Gianluca Pagliuca gets to watch Pachuca-Toluca.

I know what I won't be watching . . United v Chicago . . .

Turns out my "Free Kick-Direct Kick" weekend turned into two weekends and a $80 charge on my credit card. After battling multiple customer service came 30 minutes of lovely, on-hold Muzak and eventually a refund.

Attention DirectTV, don't go the Comcast route of poor customer service.

My neighbor ordered the DK package on his FIOS the day of the game in KC... I abandoned him when it was evident is wasn't going to work and rode to the Continental. This weekend, his wife is outta town so we're going to probably get hammered and scream at his television.

Hey, I've got an idea. Let's all march from Lincoln Park to RFK, to demand a new stadium, or television coverage, or a couple of Designated Player signings...or something like that...

Posted by: fischy | April 15, 2010 11:40 PM | Report abuse

sounds like a great idea fischy. I wonder if any of the television stations that are already not showing the game or not bothering even talking about DCU will show up and put us on tv ...............................................................................................................................................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...?

United vs the Fire on the computer. Perhaps it won't be as painful on the small screen.

And Jayrockers: if you're serious, I can probably provide the parachutes: your tax dollars at work!

The old guy holding up one of the poles of the grass banner was a nice added touch to make it even funnier for me.

Much respect to the TFC and their banners. Did you catch the two part signage at the beginning of the game? First a huge Yoda banner then a banner that just said "Win You Must".

And now all three rolled into one link (volcano, yoda, grass):

Did someone say (or refer to) "doobie"?!

"When the sun comes up
on a sleepy little town
down around San Antone
And the folks are risin'
for another day
'round about their homes
The people of the town are strange
and they're proud of where they came

Well you're talkin'
'bout China Grove
(talkin' 'bout China Grove)
Woh oh oh
Woh oh, China Grove ..."

Doobie Brothers, "China Grove," circa a long time ago

I think Philly fans sunk to a new low. But he was from Jersey.

Real Madrid - Valencia is on ESPN2, Sunday @3pm. I really ESPN gave more notice of its Spanish games, though...
