Oh well, at least they kept Chivas off the board for 15 minutes or so.....

even though they are losing, i actually think they are playing quite well. very confident going forward, nice through the midfield. even boskovic looks good (though i think it was he who didn't get any pressure on the cross that led to the goal).

They're actually controlling most of the play . . . . just not finishing.

Cristman sucks.

Rice is so bad that Kevin Payne is considering him for DP money.

that play just sums up the luck that this franchise has had recently. off the crossbar, off thornton's back and...out for a corner.

i am actually impressed with the ball movement and overall play. maybe it's the scotch i am drinking? morsink has looked good to me. unfortunately, glaciers move faster than our striker tandem.

Ball movement encouraging.
Morsink the best player on the pitch in first half for DCU.

I'm with birdynumnum, we actually are playing reasonably well. Some of the better possession i've seen from United this season. Too bad it falls apart when we enter the opponents third...

Looks like Perkins was way too far off the line on the goal. Barra representing in the corner.
VAMOS United!!!

I don't watch all MLS games but I watch a lot, and I have never seen a team ALMOST do as much as this United team. I don't believe in curses, but I am getting really tired of seeing $#!* like this supporting curses. Strasburg needs surgery and Mcnabb might not be able to start the season because of an ankle. And so it continues...
There must be toads buried all over DC.

wow. we've got nothing up top. are ali curtis and/or steve rammel available?

I love Jaime, but his lack of acceleration spoiled an excellent chance for a goal. I think almost anyone else on the pitch would have gotten to that ball before the defenders did.

argh. so frustrating. i'll take a loss if 99 scores. Q playing very very well second half.

Justin Braun looks like Jordan Vandersloot.

Nice playing from what I've seen. Just bad luck in not finishing.

Your DC United in a nutshell.

they deserved WAY better than this result. that's 2 games in a row where they were the better team (albeit against philly and chivas). but, still, an encouraging display. boskovic disappeared in the second half after an encouraging first half. i was very impressed with morsink.

Vamos United.................. or something.

Painful to watch them work so hard and really not come that close.
It's like playing bogey golf. Over a hole or three, no big deal, but at the end of the round, it's a 90, and that's not pro golf.
