Don't forget Eddie Johnson and Fulham....

So many already do.

Hoping the Crew can avenge the epic screwing they got in the away leg, and put a good old-fashioned Ohio beatdown on Santos tonight.

I like that the Crew and Real Salt Lake are doing well in this competition. I hope both Spector and Johnson get the start today.

Ives is reporting that Henry is out Friday with a knee injury. Karma I guess

On-Ree is out against LA:

Associated Press
SECAUCUS, N.J. -- Thierry Henry will miss the New York Red Bulls' high-profile game Friday night against the Los Angeles Galaxy and David Beckham because of a sprained right knee.

Five little DPs running on the field.
One fell down and hurt his knee.
Call up the trainer, the trainer screams,
No more DPs running on the field!

Serves Pink Cows, Henry and the league right.
Besides 5 DPs was sounding like a PITA anyway.

When I saw "On-Ree", I think of Patrick Roy. When he was traded to Colorado, John Elway thought it was great "but why isn't it pronounced 'Roy'?"

Has this update on Klinsmann been discussed on this blog?

Goff's Twitter page links to this item about the new Bulgaria coach:

Should Matthaus have been part of the discussion of candidates for the USMNT job? (Not that he is universally popular in this country after his brief escapade with the old RotMasters some years back.)

univ: not here, but Ives had it yesterday. Plenty of people over there got their panties in a bunch.

I read the Klinsmann thing yesterday, but did not want to stand up in this crowded theater and shout "Fire!"

Is On Ree related to Jhoon Rhee?

Posted by: Reignking | September 21, 2010 4:27 PM | Report abuse

On Rhee: Oprah called her a "Warrior Woman."

For those of you (like me) who have FiOS, be aware that GolTV is being taken away from the ExtremeHD package. In order to get it you have to spend an extra $15+ per month to sign up for the new "UltimateHD" plan. Certainly seems like bait and switch to me.
