Finn McCool's Football Club: the documentary?
Last year, we told you about "Finn McCool's Football Club," Stephen Rea's funny, touching, troubling and ultimately inspiring book about a crew of colorful characters, including himself, who bond at a gritty Irish pub in New Orleans to watch English matches and form an amateur squad that is shattered by Hurricane Katrina.
Now, Rea tells the Insider that a documentary crew has made a six-promo based on his book and is hoping to find funding to make a full-length feature. For more about the pub, click here. And watch the six-minute promo:
