Friedel looked lost on that one.

Newcastle/Arsenal one for the ages . . .

Indeed. Wenger probably aged 10 years.

Telemundo's 6pm game is Monterrey-Pachuca and both Jose "Gringo" Torres and Herculez "Hercules" Gomez started for Pachuca as they visit the defending champs.
Still scoreless after about 20 minutes...

Amazing to think that without John Pantsil's three own goals this season Fulham would be sitting 7th in the Premier League, 1 point behind Sunderland.

Watched it a dozen times -- fantastic that he ran in and put his head on it when several men were closer.

Moves Clint up the Top Scorers Ranking with 10 to 4th or 5th position. Better than Torres, tied with Dragba and van Persie.
When's his contract with Fulham up? Sir Alex would love someone like Clint Dempsey.

NxtCent1,
End of 2012-2013 season. We'll see if he can keep the scoring up with Zamora back in the lineup next week.
He only needs 6 to tie McBride for all time leading American scorer in the premier league.

Missed the match, did Bradley make it into the game?
Posted by: DadRyan | February 6, 2011 10:13 AM | Report abuse
No. Wasn't in the 18. Spent a day or two doing publicity stuff, then just one day in training, according to Jeff Bradley of ESPN and the Bradley family.

Thanks Jacob, not sweating missing the match, although it sounds like there were a lot of thrillers yesterday.
Hopefully today's Stupor Bowl lives up to the hype. Bringing ear plugs for the half time show...

Dempsey is under contract at fulham for 2 more seasons after this one. His name gets bounced around every transfer window but not much comes of it.
He will have plenty more chances, Zamora is far from match fit. Hoping he gets the single season record for an american in a few weeks against Blackburn - cause I'll be there!!!

Dempsey's 9 league goals are only surpassed by Berbatov's 19, Tevez' 18, Carroll's 11, and Bent's, Drogba's, Nolan's, and Van der Vaart's 10. Household names the world over.

Dempsey just keeps proving why he needs more attention, home and abroad, as the long promised, possible American finisher.

Friedel not getting off his line and dominating his box? Some things never change.
