Argentina roster for friendly against the United States on March 26 at Meadowlands

Carlos Tevez, out of favor with Coach Sergio Batista, was not included on Argentina's roster for the March 26 friendly vs. the United States at the New Meadowlands Stadium and a meeting at Costa Rica three days later. Sergio Aguero was also omitted. Lionel Messi is in. The U.S. roster will come out by the end of this coming week.

Goalkeepers: Mariano Andujar (Catania), Adrian Gabbarini (Independiente), Sergio Romero (AZ Alkmaar).

Defenders: Javier Zanetti (Inter Milan), Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City), Ezequiel Garay (Real Madrid), Gabriel Milito (Barcelona), Nicolas Otamendi (Porto), Federico Fazio (Sevilla), Nicolas Burdisso (Roma), Marcos Rojo (Spartak Moscow).

Midfielders: Javier Mascherano (Barcelona), Mario Bolatti (Internacional), Ever Banega (Valencia), Fernando Belluschi (Porto), Esteban Cambiasso (Inter Milan), Lucas Biglia (Anderlecht), Javier Pastore (Palermo).

Forwards: Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Ezequiel Lavezzi (Napoli), Angel Di Maria (Real Madrid), Nicolas Gaitan (Benfica), Jose Sosa (Napoli), Eduardo Salvio (Benfica).
