Road Issues
The major routes in the region are holding up fine so far, but lesser roads are affected in several areas. In Fairfax County, police report: Traffic lights out at Annandale Rd. and Gallows Rd., and at Mt. Vernon Hwy and Route 1. Flooding reported on Woodburn Rd. because of nearby Accotink Creek near Spice Wood Rd. and Eakin Park. And downed trees were reported at Lorton Rd. and Furnace Rd.

So much for our new entertainment people, the tv weather people. Looking at the radar, it appears that the storm is passing right over us and not out to sea, as predicted. Why does tv "news" spend so much time running their mouths about weather when they are wrong most of the time. All we get now is commercials, weather and 5 minutes of news in an hour show. Where are we when we need you, Willard?
