New Flu Cases In Prince George's Schools
Prince George's County school officials report two more probable cases of swine flu: One student at Vansville Elementary School in Beltsville and the other at Montpelier Elementary School in Laurel. Both schools were previously closed but re-opened today.
The two youngsters were never hospitalized and are currently at home recovering, according to Prince George's schools spokesman John White
Authorities closed Vansville Elementary School in Beltsville Monday after a student was determined to have a probable case of the flu.
Officials shut down Montpelier Elementary last week after learning that an 8-year-old student had a probable case.
Federal officials now say it is not necessary to close a school where there are flu cases.
