Two New Delaware Cases Not At the University
Two new probable H1N1 cases were reported in Delaware today, and for the first time the victims are not students at the University of Delaware. The 10 previously confirmed cases and 14 probable cases all involve students at the university's Newark campus.
The two new probable cases involve a student at a special school at Wilmington Hospital that educates children with medical conditions and a student at the Baltz Elementary School in Elsmere.
School administrators said the Baltz school would be closed next week, but after consulting with the CDC, state officials said the special school would remain open because its 15 students receive treatment for unrelated illnesses.
