Terps Men's Hoops, National Football Perspective
Hey there, college sports fans, I'm Steve Yanda. While Eric handles the Terps primarily during football season, I'll be taking the lead role on men's basketball. I'm new to the Post (interned last summer and was brought back in May for a full-time role) but am not new to the highly entertaining world of college sports.
During football season, my posts will focus more on how regional and national trends will affect Maryland and our local schools. We'll talk Top 25 polls, the ever-controversial BCS rankings and where the Terps might (or might not) fit into ACC bowl projections.
While I'll try to keep a steady flow of information coming your way, please feel free to shoot me an email (yandas@washpost.com) with any discussion topics, complaints or suggestions for ways to improve the blog that you may have. I look forward to venturing through the next four months will all of you. Let's have some fun.

Good luck with the blog. You may be able to help us solve our recruiting woes as well.

Steve, I've enjoyed your work on the Nationals beat filling in for Chico. Good to see you'll also be contributing here.

Ah. I should have known this would be only for the men's teams.
Is anyone going to blog on the women's basketball team?
