No Text Message for Fridge?
When asked about he contrasting styles of the Delaware quarterbacks, Ralph Friedgen said: “How do we know? Have you seen them?
Ralph, didn’t you recruit the QB who transferred from Ohio State?
“Yeah, he is a big, strong kid, but I don’t know if he is a runner or what,” Friedgen said. “You don’t really know with him.”
You had no tape at all?
“One was a transfer and one a redshirt freshman,” Friedgen said. “And I don’t think I will get a text message tonight either” informing me of the decision.
Delaware Coach K.C. Keeler had joked with a reporter on a conference call that he would inform the world of his quarterback decision through text message, much like Barack Obama wanted to do with vice presidential candidate Joe Biden.
So far, we are still waiting for the text. Maybe word will come through Twitter!
