Ranking the Games

Okay, here is a list of Maryland’s games, in order from the toughest to the easiest to win. I don’t think there are many games in the country more difficult than a Thursday night date in Blacksburg. Some of the other ones are certainly debatable. I’m interested to read what others think.

1) at Virginia Tech, Nov. 6
2) at Clemson, Sept. 27
3) at Boston College, Nov. 29
4) California, Sept. 13
5) Wake Forest, Oct. 18
6) Florida State, Nov. 22
7) at Virginia, Oct. 4
8) North Carolina, Nov. 15
9) North Carolina State, Oct. 25
10) at Middle Tennessee State, Sept. 6
11) Delaware, Aug. 30
12) Eastern Michigan, Sept. 20

Off to College Park. I’ll check in before practice with a word on the job Friedgen says he has hated the most in his life.

BC over Cal, Wake and FSU?

You are dead on with the first two....VaTech and Clemson.
I think I would put Cal at # 3 though, then at BC # 4.

About right. Would possibly switch BC and Wake as the Terps D(see Cosh) has not been able to figure out the WFU offense ever. V Tech looks like our annual ESPN Thursday night beatdown. However, they aren't nearly as good this year as they normally are, so maybe things change this year.

The BC game is on the road at the end of the year. Not like Ralph has won a ton of road games the last 4 years. I would maybe put Cal in front of BC because of their defense and the fact Steffy will most likely still be the starter at this point in the season. FSU is a 6 or 7 win team at best and has lost 3 of the last 4 here.

FSU has lost 3 of the last 4 here.

Simply. Not. True. They've lost 2 in a row here. Before that they've never lost against the Terps. Not here, not anywhere.
