Clemson Report: Injuries, No Guarantees
You might not remember Clemson running back james Davis' guarantee of a victory over Maryland a year ago, but Coach Tommy Bowden and the media that cover the Tigers certainly do. It appears Davis was hounded for some type of declaration for Saturday, but he offered only the following:
"I guarantee that I’ll be there at the game,” Davis said.
Meantime, perhaps quarterback Cullen Harper isn't so bad after all: In 17 games as a starter, Harper has set 27 school records for offense and passing efficiency. And after a disappointing early-season loss and various motivational tactics by coaches, the Tigers are saying that the team's leadership must now come from the players. I feel like I've heard that some place else.

Gary,
Stop, seriously. You've posted that same message at least 10 times. Get a life.

Prediction:
Clemson -- 48
Maryland -- 17
Maryland will finish with a 4-8 record (good for last place in the ACC - even behind Duke).
I am happy that Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.
Jelani Jenkins, Travis Hawkins and Isaac Holmes will be signing with the University of Florida.
