Egekeze Makes 23-yard FG
The drought it over. Obi Egekeze has made his first field goal of the season, a 23-yard to give Maryland a 3-0 lead with 11:04 left in the first quarter. We'll see if this will give Egekeze some confidence.
The other early development: Ralph Friedgen had been talking all week about EMU's punters, and the punting game helped set up Maryland's first score. Adrian Moten blocked Patrick Treppa's punt attempt and Dominique Herald returned the ball to the EMU 10.
Davin Meggett started in place of Da'Rel Scott.
