EMU Scores, Terps Answer Quickly

EMU is outgaining Maryland in yards by almost 100 yards. But the Eagles have screwed themselves up by throwing two interceptions and getting one punt blocked. Running back Terrence Blevins just scored from seven yards out to make the score 17-7 Maryland.

EMU must have some confidence that they can move the ball. Wait a second, Torrey Smith just returned the kickoff 57 yards to give the Terps great field position again. And on the first play of the drive, Chris Turner lofted the ball into the end zone for Darrius Heyward-Bey, who made a nice grab for the score. A 32-yard TD pass. 24-7 Maryland with 4:49 left in the half.
