Eric is writing about the challenge of playing on the road for tomorrow's newspaper, so we took a look at Ralph Friedgen's record at home and on the road. Here are the results:

Year........Home...Road...Neutral
2001.......7-0.......3-1.......0-1
2002.......6-1.......4-1.......1-1
2003.......6-0.......3-3.......1-0
2004.......4-2.......1-4.......0-0
2005.......1-4.......3-2.......1-0
2006.......6-1.......2-3.......1-0
2007.......3-3.......3-3.......0-1
2008.......3-0.......0-1.......0-0
Total.......36-11...21-18...4-3

The place Friedgen has lost the most games (other than Byrd Stadium) is Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, where he is 0-4 against Florida State. The place where Friedgen has won the most games (other than Byrd Stadium) is Grove Stadium, where he is 3-1 against Wake Forest, and Carter-Finley Stadium, where he is 3-1 against N.C. State.

For what it's worth, Friedgen enters Saturday's game 2-1 in Clemson's Memorial Stadium.
