Green Scores, 10-0 Terps

Running back Morgan Green handled the carries on Maryland's second possession and scored from a one yard touchdown, his first career touchdown, on fourth and one from the one. Darrius Heyward-Bey had a nice 35-yard run on the drive.

Defense and special teams making key plays. In addition to the blocked punt, defensive back Jamari McCollough stepped in front of a EMU receiver in the end zone and intercepted a pass. Before that, EMU quarterback Kyle McMahon had been carving up the defense. He has already completed 5 of 7 passes for 82 yards, but his team trails 10-0.

Not much of a crowd in the upper deck. The way this game is going, it won't be much of a game by halftime.
