Heyward-Bey: Problem was first Week of School
Here is the interview with Darrius Heyward-Bey:
“After the game, me and Da’Rel Scott, we were just down because as a competitor you always feel you could do well. Those two big plays didn’t mean anything because you always feel like you could do more.
There is some firepower [in our offense], but when you take an L you have to do more.
You prepare all week and then come out a loser, it’s tough to take. We have to come to work on Monday. It is a wake-up call. We need to do better and be more consistent in practice and the game.
(Why was there no focus this week)
First week of school, that’s the best answer I can give you. First week of school.
We haven’t started an ACC game yet. That’s still up on my board. We have to get going so we can contend for the championship.”

Maryland's defensive line is a complete joke.
I have seen a better pass rush by Pop Warner and CYO teams.
Prediction for Maryland's upcoming game --
Califonia - 48
Maryland - 13
Maryland will finish with a 3-9 record (good for last place in the ACC - even behind Duke)
I am glad that Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.
Jelani Jenkins and Travis Hawkins will be signing with the University of Florida.
