Maryland at Clemson at Noon

Maryland beat writers across this great land rejoice! The Clemson game on Sept. 27 is at noon. Time to celebrate. Again, beat writers don't root for teams. We root for working computers, good deadlines and Marriott point specials.

Virginia at Duke over Maryland at Clemson for ESPNU? Odd choice. I woudl think Clemnson is a far bigger draw than Duke.

What's the HD status of the Maryland game? Its hard watching those games on Raycom. Their non-HD broadcast is TERRIBLE.

Are there actually "Maryland beat writers across this great land"? Or are you using "great land" to refer to the state of Maryland? If it's the latter, I salute you.
