I don't laugh out loud often when I read pre-game notes, but a good job by Cal's sports information department referencing the Mike Gundy tirade and famous line "I'm a man! I'm 40!" That's the headline of a note about Cal winning 43 games over a five-year span, the most victories by Cal over a five-year period since the 1948-1952 teams combined to win 44 games. Hey, the headline got me to use the note. I'm a bit surprised Patrick Stevens, the most underrated sports writer on the East Coast, did not find this one because it is right up his alley.
