Barnes out, Perhaps for Some Time
The news of the day is the cornerback Kevin Barnes is out for the NC State game with a shoulder injury and his status for the coming weeks does not look good. Ralph Friedgen declined to discuss the results of Barnes' MRI exam until tomorrow, after Barnes speaks with doctors. But this is a significant loss for the NC State game and perhaps down the road.
More updates to come after practice...

Prediction:
NC State -- 27
Maryland - 10
Maryland will finish with a 5-7 record.
I am extremely happy that Penn State is ranked number 3 in the country - and very soon to be ranked number one --- this will definitely hurt Maryland's recruiting - thank god !!!
I am happy that Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.
Jelani Jenkins, Travis Hawkins and Isaac Holmes will be signing with the University of Florida.
Go Tar Heels

One of the toughest aspects of the game is seeing quality guys like Barnes having to miss the rest of the season due to an injury, especially during a time when he was asserting himself as the leader in the secondary.
Let's hope he makes a full recovery.
