Maryland-N.C. State a 3:30 p.m. Kickoff

The homecoming game against N.C. State is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Oddly the ACC has no scheduled night games for that week. Perhaps that's just as well for the Terps: Night games against overmatched opponents haven't worked out for Maryland nearly as well as noon kickoffs against ranked foes. But one thing at a time. Here's the ACC schedule for Oct. 25.

Boston College at North Carolina, Raycom, 12 noon
Wake Forest at Miami, ESPNU, 12 noon
Duke at Vanderbilt, 3 pm
Virginia Tech at Florida State, ABC (ESPN2*), 3:30 pm
Virginia at Georgia Tech, ESPNU, 3:30 pm
NC State at Maryland, ESPN 360, 3:30 pm
