Poll: What is the Personality of these Terrapins

As I suggested in my game story, reporters are running out of words to describe the personality of these unique Terrapins. When I asked Jeremy Navarre for a word to describe the persona of his team, he said refocused. That’s true, for a game. But there is another side to these Terrapins that allows them to lose to Middle Tennessee and Virginia. What word would you use?

thinking about it, they're "typical slacker college kids." they cruise along, getting blindsided by the unexpected paper or test, then get all ramped up for the tests the profs have been bugging them about. once through that, they kick back, think they're awesome, and party.

I don't know about the Middle Tenn. game (New off. system and coach etc.?),but against Va. they never had a chance to get untracked due to an atrocious offensive game plan. Turner was kept under control to only throw in desperate spots. They tried to run,run and if short yardage run again.Never threw on 1st or second downs, never gave the passing game and Turner a chance to get into a rhythm. It looked like an example of the worst Ralph Friedgen game plans that resulted in his having to hire Franklin. Many people thought RF had his signature on that. If so then finally Franklin may be now in more control accounting for the great improvement. We will see.

NC State – 27
Maryland - 10

Maryland will finish with a 5-7 record.

Penn State will crush Maryland in recruiting this year - I am so happy that Penn State is ranked number 3 in the country - and soon to be ranked number one.

I am happy that Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.

Jelani Jenkins, Travis Hawkins and Isaac Holmes will be signing with the University of Florida.

Go Tar Heels

Maryland and Gary Williams - get crushed on the recruiting trail - again:

City College forward C.J. Fair committed to Syracuse yesterday, according to Baltimore Stars official Troy Franklin.
Fair, a 6’7 junior, is rated the No. 45 player in the 2010 class by

10 % graduation rate for Maryland Basketball - nice job, Gary Williams (he said with a heavy dose of sarcasm !)

I can't believe that Debbie Yow, has not fired Gary Williams.

There is no way, that a parent should ever send their son to the University of Maryland to play basketball.

Maryland will finish with a 15-16 record and 4-12 in the ACC.

No NCAA bid

No NIT bid

I am glad that Maryland football, is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.

Go Tar Heels !

Where the poll says the Terps are "schizophrenic," what it really means is that they have dissociative identity disorder. No one thinks the Terps have hallucinations, thought disorders, social dysfunction, etc. They think they act like one kind of team one week and another kind of team another week.
