The Non-Update Injury Update
Get used to this for the next week. Neither Maryland Coach Ralph Friedgen nor Virginia Tech Coach Frank Beamer will give much of an update on their injured players over the next seven days. So we will likely head into Thursday’s matchup not knowing the availability of Hokies quarterbacks Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, Maryland running back Da’Rel Scott and Maryland linebacker Dave Philistin.
Friedgen said that both Philistin and Scott are questionable for the Virginia Tech game. Friedgen said he has held them both back in practice this week.
And then there is linebacker Adrian Moten, who practiced yesterday and might be able to make his return against VirginiaTech. Or maybe not. Like the other four injured players, we will see.

I expect Scott and Philistin to both play on a limited basis.
Meggett to get most of the carries, and Moten back to help the LB position.
