Turner, Campbell Earn ACC Honors

The ACC just released its players of the week list, and Maryland quarterback Chris Turner and offensive lineman Bruce Campbell received honors for their play in Maryland's 26-0 win over Wake Forest.

Turner won offensive back of the week honors after completing 28 of 41 passes for 321 yards.

Campbell was named offensive lineman of the week after making his second career start and grading out as the Terps top lineman in the victory.

Eric,

This doesn't have anything to do with ACC honors...but can you get a story on the helmet stickers? What is the picture on them? What do they get handed out for exactly? Why do they look like they are neon colors?

Prediction:

NC State - 27
Maryland - 10

Maryland will finish with a 5-7 record.

I am extremely happy that Penn State is ranked number 3 in the country - and very soon to be ranked number one --- this will definitely hurt Maryland's recruiting - thank god !!!

I am happy that Maryland is no longer recruiting Tavon Austin.

Jelani Jenkins, Travis Hawkins and Isaac Holmes will be signing with the University of Florida.

Go Tar Heels

Maryland and Gary Williams - get crushed on the recruiting trail - again:

City College forward C.J. Fair committed to Syracuse yesterday, according to Baltimore Stars official Troy Franklin.
Fair, a 6’7 junior, is rated the No. 45 player in the 2010 class by Rivals.com.

Was watching College gameday on ESPN and Lou Holtz gave his helmet sticker to Turner. Nice of the 4-letter to give some props to the Terps!!

Nice win this weekend Gary..oh wait.

Freaking loser posting the same half post on all Maryland football blogs. Get a life.

Can we all vote to spam block Gary, until he has something intelligent to say? Fine if you don't like the Terps, but contribute to the discussion rather than repeat the same thing over and over again. What are you, in the 5th grade?

The helmet stickers look like a profile shot of the Testudo statues around campus (and on the field outside of Gossett).

Gary...HEY, You suck.

Eric - question for you - when will Steffy be healthy and is there any risk of a QB controversy when he is?
