Update on Virginia Tech's Quarterbacks

Here's the brief word from intrepid reporter Zach Berman, who was listening to Virginia Tech Coach Frank Beamer's teleconference while on a train to Philadelphia for tonight's World Series game:

Beamer said Tyrod Taylor and Sean Glennon will both be in walking boots all week and will not practice Tuesday or Wednesday. Tight end Greg Boone would be the No. 2 quarterback if Taylor and Glennon cannot go, with Cory Holt as the No. 1.
