Women's Team Introduced

Quote of the night so far comes from Maryland women's basketball coach Brenda Frese. Before joining her team at midcourt, Frese stood in an entryway and watched as a photo montage of herself was shown on the jumbotron. There was Frese as a toddler. There was Frese as a middle schooler. And in high school. And so on. Each picture displayed a slightly different look, which Frese quickly addressed upon taking up the microphone at midcourt.

"Those hair styles, they were hot back in the day," she said to a chorus of laughter.

Well played, Coach.
