Bowden's Odd Take on Maryland
I listened to the ACC teleconference again with Bobby Bowden and I came across this from Bowden regarding Maryland:
"I don't see them having highs and lows," Bowden said. "Seems like they play good every Saturday."
Huh? If there ever was a team that goes up and down like the stock market, it is Maryland. Coach Ralph Friedgen seems to be asked almost every day about figuring out his team, and he often gives the same response: Who knows?
I will be roaming in and out of Terrapin Insider throughout the day, but it's an important day to catch up on some personal things (laundry, bills, gym) before I hit the road for Washington Post Live, where I will talk about the football game. Then I will head to Comcast Center to join Steve Yanda for the big Terps-Vermont game. Really looking forward to that one. I say a 10-point Maryland win, but it could be interesting.

Unreal. More fuel for FireBobbyBowden.com? He should've been on my bus to Charlottesville. FREDTERP
